Critical comments on the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) grouping of the world’s leading emerging market economies is the best sign of this association’s significance globally, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told TASS on Monday.

“There are many speculations today, especially in the West, to the effect that the economic dynamics of some BRICS members has lost breath and that the association is not what it was before,” the high-placed diplomat said.
