The President of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance (SYRIZA-PS) party Socrates Famellos has commented the sixth anniversary of the electoral victory of New Democracy led by now PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis
“Six years of Mitsotakis’ government. Six years of scandals, favoritism, golden blue boys, a client state, giving direct contracts, squandering of public money. Six years of looting public property, privatization of Education and Health. Six years of anti-worker laws, criminalization of unionism and strikes, unpaid overtime, workplace accidents, and 13-hour workdays. Six years of inflation, overtaxation, and windfall profits for cartels. Six years of foreclosures on primary residences, even for earthquake victims living in containers”, he emphasizes and comments:
“The government of the Tempi crime and its cover-up, of wiretapping, of continuous defeats in foreign policy, of OPECEPE, of the helicopter scandal, of Patis and Stassis. The government of the ‘Frappé’ and the ‘Butcher’ and the ‘blue locusts’. A full-blown mafia.”
“Six years, one conclusion: No more, they must leave as soon as possible so Greece can breathe again,” concludes S. Famellos.
