For several days now, we have raised, in two of our articles, a series of questions regarding the attacks on the British bases in Cyprus and the major contradictions in the announcements made by the British and Cypriot authorities: They Want to Bring NATO into the War Against Iran via Cyprus and Greece and Greece and Cyprus: With Leaders in the Service of Foreign Powers, There Is No Defense
It should be noted that Iran itself has since repeatedly denied being behind the attacks in Cyprus, Azerbaijan, and Turkey!
It should also be noted that both Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon always claim responsibility for the attacks they carry out.
Furthermore, it is worth noting that when the first of the three supposedly Iranian missiles fell in Turkey, a journalist captured it on video. It was a NATO missile.
One also wonders why the British bases in Akrotiri, Cyprus were struck, precisely when London was clashing with Trump over not accepting the use of its bases by US aircraft?
Why would they strike Turkey, which condemned the war against Iran and the assassination of its leader, and also denied the use of its airspace, territory, and territorial waters to the US armed forces, causing discontent among American imperialist circles?
Theoretically, at least, an operation against the British bases in Cyprus, which is British territory and part of NATO, and an attack against Turkey, a NATO member, especially if such attacks continue, could be used to invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter, which provides for mutual assistance, and thus bring NATO into the US and Israeli operations in Iran and Lebanon.
Why, moreover, is there a continued effort to maintain a climate of fear in Cyprus and Greece, with constant alerts around the Akrotiri base that prove to be groundless?
As we have explained from the very first day, the only one who can benefit from such attacks is Israel, which, since its creation, has tried to get all Western nations and any other willing parties to fight its wars against the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims, plunging all of humanity into a “clash of civilizations” that will destroy it.
After all, it has already achieved the concentration of Greek and NATO forces in Cyprus. It is doubtful they will protect the island, but they are ready to participate in the war if the leaderships of the states that sent them manage to overcome the political difficulties they face domestically and the fear that is beginning to overwhelm even the corrupt and uneducated puppets governing most European states.
After all that what we had? The President of Turkey, Rezep Tayyip Erdogan, who issued strong warnings to Tehran after the two first strikes, has now changed completely the tone. He says Turkey will not fall into this trap and be dragged into war and it will stay away from the fire
We won’t bore you with the situation in Azerbaijan because the exact same scenario as in Cyprus and Turkey was followed there.
The conclusions are yours to draw.
These incidents are also revealing of the much more serious problems that the absorption of the two states, Greece and Cyprus, including their “deep state” by our dear Israeli “allies”, can create for Greece and Cyprus. The most serious of these dangers are a) fake terrorism and b) our incoherent leadership being dragged into military conflicts with Iran or Turkey for reasons that do not concern Greece!
PS: The neoconservative and pro-Zionist Michael Rubin has already written an article calling for the removal of British bases from Cyprus. That is, to kick the British out, but leave the Israelis, Americans, and French alone. Our latter-day anti-imperialist, held in high esteem by the Greek mainstream media, is also a known provocateur. In his articles, he called on Turkish officers to overthrow Erdogan two months before the 2016 coup, explaining to them that this is what NATO wants too and they have nothing to fear. Those who listened to him are dead, in exile, or in prison!
