In his essay, Burg condemned Netanyahu’s government as “apocalyptic zealots” who have corrupted Judaism, urging a return to its moral and humanistic roots. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the prospect of Zionists turning against each other, likening it to “an allergic reaction to yourself.” Jimmy predicts Burg will face a backlash for his apostasy.
