What Nicolas Sarkozy achieved in Libya

Back in 2011 the then President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy, supported by the majority of French political forces, pushed to a “humanitarian” military intervention in Libya, pretending he had to save one million Libyans. The “new philosopher” and “late neoconservative” Bernard Henri-Levy was the architect. France was used by neoconservatives, because of the difficulties they already encountered with US administration. Paris was finally followed by London, Washington and NATO.
