Nearly 800 people have been killed while trying to receive humanitarian aid in Gaza, according to the UN Human Rights Office.
The agency expressed alarm over the high number of civilian casualties and stressed that many were shot or caught in crossfire during aid distribution.
It called for immediate steps to ensure the safe delivery of aid and the protection of civilians, warning that such incidents may constitute violations of international humanitarian law.
