Good news: International Criminal Court (The Hague, Netherlands) will take-up Israeli actions in the occupied territories: “The Prosecution has carefully considered the observations of the participants and remains of the view that the Court has jurisdiction over the Occupied Palestinian Territory. It respectfully requests Pre-Trial Chamber I to confirm that the “territory” over which the Court may exercise its jurisdiction under article 12(2)(a) comprises the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and Gaza.” Fatou Bensouda, Prosecutor https://www.icc-cpi.int/CourtRecords/CR2020_01746.PDFCodepink

Zoos are closed. Many animals in zoos love the attention they received from visitors. Some zoos are allowing animals to visit each other. This is funny! https://youtu.be/9EVVCMQQEpU

In our institute (palestinenature.org) we have few living animals of various species that we take care of whether chickens for eggs or wild animals for rehabilitation. We have lots of plants including vegetables and fruits supplying staff and volunteers with organic healthy produce. We have fewer humans and we would welcome some local volunteers (internationals cannot come anymore due to travel bans). To see what you gain from volunteering, here is a short video: https://youtu.be/APxvAZh8qrQ
(we welcome you and we can share with you our new projects, publications, productive time etc)
