Is Iran Winning the War? If So, Get Ready For Israel Going Nuclear!!

Mar 6, 2026

EDITOR’S NOTE (Nick Stamatakis).  During the last 12 months, Helleniscope has been discussing the disturbing history of Israel getting nuclear weapons.  We started last July with exposing JFK’s strong opposition to Israel’s acquiring nuclear weapons, which very likely led to his assassination (link here).  We have mentioned several times that Israel cannot accuse Iran or anyone else of “going nuclear” while they refuse control of their own nukes… And last week, a few hours after the attack on Iran, we drew attention to the – rather unlikely at the time – possibility of using these weapons, the so-called “Samson Option”.  Well, the unlikely possibility has become, within a week, a much more likely scenario. Why? Because it is proven that both the US and Israel are seriously losing this war and that their (lack of) strategy has pushed them into a corner.

Just watching the various “officials” of the Trump administration fumble and switch positions every few hours is evidence enough of the chaos and the impasses they have created… And Trump himself has become a spectacle of inconsistency and incompehensible senility…

But let’s focus on our main issue today. In Helleniscope, we are pursuing the truth and the facts to the best of our ability. nd today the facts lead to us to suggest that Iran is winning the war… The first part of the posts and videos below comes from theduran.com and is the result of Eric Zuesse’s work (link here). Writes Eric Zuesse:

The legendary MIT weapons-scientist Ted Postol, who has always been the best to penetrate through to and analyze the actual evidences in America’s many wars — never the propaganda from the empire’s permanent-war regime — is right now concluding that most of Iran’s missiles are hitting their targets (“The intercept rate is extremely low”; later he said the intercept rate is “well below 5%”*), and furthermore, that Iran has many missiles underground that the U.S. and Israel never knew were there — they suddenly pop up from under sand dunes, where no launcher has previously been visible; and at least in Israel, they are hitting their targets; and, now — which was not previously the case (such as in the Amer-Israel invasion of Iran during June 2026 — their flight is being accompanied by dozens of decoys, so that even more of the actual warheads are getting through than had been the case in June.

I won’t provide anything from the transcript here because the video presents his analysis of what the clips show; so, in this case, a mere transcript won’t do. However,  I should also point out that Postol’s analysis of the incoming evidences is exactly the kind of outcome that was yesterday uploaded to youtube by a group of students and other followers of Prof. Jiang Xueqin, founder of “Predictive History,” who has a remarkably successful record of having his predictions come true. So, here that explanation of what Dr. Postol is finding:

Then let me post here the expert opinion of Andrei Martyanov, who exposes the many lies of the mainstream media and, as an expert on Russian military capabilities, explains the ongoing conflict in many ways… Above all, he reiterates the same position: The US and Israel are running out of munitions and are getting hit very hard by Iranian drones and missiles – assisted by Chinese and Russian sattelite intelligence…

Finally, today Iran used its advanced missiles with cluster warheads mostly against Ben Gurion International Airport and the Israel AF base nearby, among other sites… Watch Larry Johnson:

ARE WE APPROACHING THE NUCLEAR THRESHOLD?

The most recent escalation—large Iranian missile salvos striking Israel over the past 24–48 hours—changes the strategic risk environment in meaningful ways. At the same time, it is now verified at least five (!!) huge radar part od US military bases in the Persian Gulf and in the surrounding area. As a result, Iran has reportedly launched unencumbered multiple waves of ballistic missiles and drones, including several missile barrages in a single day, triggering nationwide air-raid sirens and causing casualties and damage inside Israel. At the same time, Israel and the United States have intensified strikes on Iranian military and regime infrastructure, with thousands of bombs dropped and additional targets hit in Tehran and other cities. This pattern indicates that the conflict has shifted from a limited punitive strike into a sustained interstate war with reciprocal strategic attacks on each side’s core territory.

These heavy missile attacks slightly increase the probability of extreme escalation scenarios—including the theoretical possibility of nuclear signaling or use—but the overall likelihood still remains relatively low in the near term. Israel retains substantial conventional options: continued air superiority, pre-emptive strikes against missile launchers, and deep attacks on Iranian military infrastructure. As long as Israel can degrade Iran’s launch capacity and limit civilian casualties through missile defense and counter-strikes, decision-makers are likely to prefer conventional escalation. But day by day, these capabilities become increasingly doubtful.  And so the nuclear use, the ominous “Sampson Option” becomes likely, despite carrying enormous diplomatic and strategic costs, and would risk immediate global isolation and unpredictable retaliation.

The qualitative shift to repeated large missile salvos directly hitting Israeli population centers does create the kinds of pressures historically associated with escalation thresholds. If Iranian strikes begin causing significantly higher casualties, disabling critical infrastructure, or threatening Israel’s strategic deterrent assets (such as nuclear or command facilities), Israeli leaders could increasingly frame the conflict in existential terms. In that scenario—especially if conventional strikes fail to stop the barrages or if Iran approaches nuclear breakout capability—the probability of nuclear signaling or limited nuclear use would rise materially.

We are praying that cooler minds prevail… Or, as it has been rumored, Presidents Putin and Xi Jinping have given the appropriate messages to Jerusalem and Washington, D.C. It has also been reported that Putin has ordered the most advanced Russian submarines to “shadow” any Israeli submarines approaching Iran, as it is known that Israeli submarines have nuclear capabilities…
