Preparing to ship thousands of kilos of food
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez referred to the humanitarian crisis in the Strip. He described the famine in Gaza as a shame for humanity.
And he added: “Our support, therefore, is a moral imperative, it is a humanitarian imperative and it is also a political imperative.”
He announced an army operation from Jordan to send thousands of kilograms of food via A400 aircraft.
While he said it is not a solution to hunger, he is confident that support along with other governments will be a relief.
He called on the Israeli prime minister to activate a ceasefire and open a humanitarian corridor for the arrival of aid.
