German-led NATO battle group trains for war on Belarus, Kaliningrad borders

Comprised of units from six Allied nations: Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands and Norway, NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroup Lithuania is a key asset for providing deterrence and defence to the eastern flank.

As part of their mission, NATO’s enhanced Forward Battlegroup Lithuania is continuously executing training exercises to enhance their readiness and ability to operate as a multinational, combat-ready force.
