A protest rally and march at the Israeli embassy, following a call by the March to Gaza Initiative, the Palestinian Parish of Greece and other associations, took place this afternoon, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of the crew of the sailing ship Madleen, which was raided while sailing in international waters by Israeli forces, as well as an end to the blockade on Gaza and the genocide of Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Israeli navy towed the boat to the port of Ashdod, while the activists are reportedly expected to be held in a detention center in the town of Ramle before being deported, according to Adalah, a legal rights group that represents them.
