Vance says Epstein had connections to the highest levels of US, Israeli intelligence

Vice President JD Vance said on an episode of the “Joe Rogan Experience” that disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein had connections with the highest levels of U.S. intelligence and Israeli intelligence.

Vance sat down for an interview with Rogan in an episode that aired Wednesday. They discussed the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files, where Epstein got his money and theories about blackmail.

“He [Epstein] clearly had connections to the highest levels of American intelligence,” Vance said. “He clearly had connections to the highest levels of Israeli intelligence.”

Vance noted that something he noticed was that while Epstein had Democrat and Republican friends in the U.S., he seemed to only have connections to the deep-state left in Israel.

“Epstein seemed to be connected to the elements of the Israeli deep state that were left-of-center,” the vice president said. “Like, I’ve always found that fascinating.”

Epstein died in prison in 2019 after he was convicted of sex trafficking minors.

Vance said that the Trump administration got it completely wrong when it came to comms for the Epstein files.

“We absolutely screwed up the comms of the Epstein files,” Vance said. “We just did. “But do I think the reason we screwed up the comms is because we were trying to hide something? No.”

Rogan pointed out that last year that different conservative influencers got binders that read, “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” and “Declassified.” This came after former Attorney General Pam Bondi said the Epstein client list was on her desk and that they had hours of film regarding Epstein.

“I don’t know what the purpose of it was, but I know that the effect of it was to make people mistrust the entire effort,” he said. “Look, I know Pam. I like Pam. I don’t think there’s anything malicious going on. I think Pam was just trying to respond to the political moment.”
