Trump, Epstein and the Deep State

The Chris Hedges Report
Jul 14, 2025

The refusal by the Trump administration to release the files and videos amassed during investigations into the activities of the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, should put to rest the absurd idea, embraced by Trump supporters and gullible liberals, that Trump will dismantle the Deep State. Trump is part of, and has long been part of, the repugnant cabal of politicians – Democrat and Republican – billionaires and celebrities who look at us, and often underage girls and boys, as commodities to exploit for profit or pleasure.

The list of those who were in Epstein’s orbit is a who’s who of the rich and famous. They include not only Trump, but Bill Clinton, who allegedly took a trip to Thailand with Epstein, Prince AndrewBill Gates, hedge fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, former Secretary of the Treasury and former president of Harvard University Larry Summers, cognitive psychologist and author Stephen PinkerAlan Dershowitz, billionaire and Victoria’s Secret CEO Leslie Wexner, the former Barclays banker Jes Staley, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, the magician David Copperfield, actor Kevin Spacey, former CIA director Bill Burns, real estate mogul Mort Zuckerman, former Maine senator George Mitchell and disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who reveled in Epstein’s perpetual Bacchanalia.

They also include law firms and high-priced attorneys, federal and state prosecutors, private investigators, personal assistants, publicists, servants and drivers. They include the numerous procurers and pimps, including Epstein’s girlfriend and daughter of Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine Maxwell. They include the media and politicians who ruthlessly discredited and silenced the victims, and strong armed anyone, including a handful of intrepid reporters, seeking to expose Epstein’s crimes and circle of accomplices.

There is a lot that remains hidden. But there are some things we know. Epstein installed hidden cameras in his opulent residences and on his private Caribbean island, Little St. James, to capture his high-powered friends engaging in sexual romps and abuse of teenage and underage girls and boys. The recordings were blackmail gold. Were they part of an intelligence operation on behalf of the Israeli Mossad? Or were they used to ensure that Epstein had a steady source of investors who funneled him millions of dollars to avoid being outed? Or were they used for both? He shuttled underage girls between New York and Palm Beach on his private jet the Lolita Express, which was allegedly outfitted with a bed for group sex. His coterie of famous friends, including Clinton and Trump, are recorded as traveling on the jet numerous times on released flight logs, although many other flight logs have disappeared.

The Epstein Saga

Paul Craig Roberts
Jul 13, 2025

As Epstein was murdered to keep him quiet, it was obvious no files would be released.  AG Bondi said she had the files and videos and was going through them.  But then the men in black paid a visit, and suddenly there were no files.  Moreover, the authorities concluded that Epstein committed suicide in his prison cell.  So we are left with the puzzle, there is no evidence that Epstein did anything wrong, so he committed suicide for no reason. If Epstein had no client list, to whom was he trafficking the minors?

The stink is so strong that Dan Bongino, the deputy director of the FBI, is reportedly considering resigning.  https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/us/kash-patel-furious-with-pam-bondi-over-handling-of-epstein-case-claims-trump-aide-calls-for-ags-resignation/articleshow/122392223.cms   I cited a news source from India to show that the entire world is watching the US government make a fool of itself.

This is not a “who is the most MAGA, Bondi or Bongino, situation.” It is the ruling elite preventing the whistle from being blown on them, backed up by Netanyahu making sure Trump understands that Epstein’s connection to Mossad does not come up.  Indeed, that and not Iran could be the real reason for Netanyahu’s visit.  If Iran was the reason, how come we have not heard anything about the discussion or decision?

The situation seems clear enough.  So many important people are ensnared in videos engaged in sex with underaged persons that it must be hushed up. Otherwise, Americans will lose confidence in their leadership class.  So folks there is nothing there.  The Clintons and the princes and all the others were flown to Epstein’s island where there were underaged sexual attractions just to see the island and to have tea with Epstein, a math teacher who somehow overnight became super rich.

Of Course Trump Doesn’t Want to Release the Epstein Files

By Branko Marcetic*
Jul 10, 2025

Not only was Trump intimately close to Jeffrey Epstein, but there is a wealth of reporting tying the billionaire pedophile to intelligence circles. Trump is once again protecting the elites he claimed he would fight on the campaign trail.

The Trump administration’s shameless flip-flop on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files is one of the laziest, most brazen cover-ups in American history.Donald Trump and his team spent the 2024 campaign promising to release what the government had on Epstein and the criminal network around him and claimed right up until this past week that they had the files and were ready to set them loose. Then they did a complete 180.Attorney general Pam Bondi once claimed that a “truckload of evidence arrived,” that she had Epstein’s client list “sitting on my desk right now, to review,” and that “everything’s going to come out to the public.” Bondi now says she was never referring to a client list and that all the Epstein material is simply unreleasable child porn. FBI director Kash Patel previously charged the government was withholding the files “because of who’s on that list,” and he was “not going to withhold information from the American public, ever”; now the official position of both Patel’s FBI and the Department of Justice headed by Bondi is that there is “no incriminating ‘client list’” and that they will make “no further disclosure” — all in the name of “combatting child exploitation,” no less.To be clear, there is likely no actual “client list.” What there is — as Julie K. Brown, the Miami Herald journalist who broke the Epstein story, has repeatedly said — is a trove of heavily redacted and unreleased files that the FBI and DOJ have been sitting on for years, which could give us an idea of who Epstein consorted with while still protecting the identities of victims. Yet the Trump team has conveniently steered attention away from this to a phantom client list and Epstein’s pornographic content, while insisting nothing, not even these files, are going to see the light of day.Trump himself seems unusually agitated by the subject of Epstein these days. Earlier this week, when a reporter asked him about his flip-flop and Epstein’s possible intelligence ties, Trump uncharacteristically erupted in anger at the question:

Notte della Taranta (Kalinihta)

Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years. . . . Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable. Do you want to waste time on it? . . . I mean, I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this, where we’re having some of the greatest success, and also tragedy with what happened in Texas. It just seems like a desecration.
