Putin’s Spokesperson Dmitriy Peskov believes that none of the associations in the post-Soviet space is an attempt to reincarnate the Soviet Union. It was reported by Ria Novosti.

Earlier, Nuland said that the US government fears that Putin “as a project of his legacy seeks to recreate the Soviet Union.”

The Kremlin is convinced that US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is well aware that it is impossible to recreate the Soviet Union.

“Ms. Nuland has extensive knowledge about Russia and all the nuances of the post-Soviet space. I’m convinced that Ms. Nuland just like us or other experts clearly comprehends that restoring the USSR is impossible,” Peskov emphasized.

During their meeting on December 7, presidents of the United States and the Russian Federation Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin agreed that another round of talks was in order. However, the actual date has not been agreed on. Dmitriy Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian leader said.

“The presidents said that after their representatives get in touch, they’ll need to talk once again. However, it’s difficult to say when it’s possible”, Peskov said.

As is known, the negotiations between the Russian and American leaders took place on December 7. The talks took two hours, with the agenda including bilateral relations, strategic stability as well as the situation in Ukraine and the NATO expansion.
